The Nevada Alarm Association is a state wide trade association comprising of licensed life-safety, Surveillance and Intrusion Alarm companies and operators. Suppliers of products and services to our industry and associates who have a stake in our industry are also welcome partners. Dozens of Electronic Security providers and suppliers are members. The member companies represent 70% of the electronic security industry in Nevada. Nevada Security Association is a Chartered Chapter of the Electronic Security Association (ESA).
Provide a vehicle to promote growth and professionalism within the Electronic Security Industry throughout the State of Nevada. Education, awareness and a unified voice are three ways we will establish our members within our industry as premier providers of these services and products.
- First annual NSA Scholarship given out in April 2011
- Hosted standing room only Western States Luncheon at ISC-West April 2011
- Launched new NSA website
- Worked on starting NV Apprenticeship Program with ESA and local authorities
- Developed contacts within local and state regulatory authorities to keep our membership abreast of latest news and permitted our industry to have a strong voice
- Provided informative guest speakers at each membership meeting
- Assisted at AIREF (Alarm Industry Research Educational Foundation) Golf Tournament April 2011 in Las Vegas
- Collaborated with Western States Alarm Association on events
